Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) Activation - Fentiman Road

The Tactical Urbanistas brightened up a newly filtered road as part of Lambeth’s Oval to Stockwell LTN. To encourage people to walk, cycle, and wheel through the space where cars were now prohibited, we added bold colours and designs to the existing raised table in the road. Lambeth Council provided community feedback after implementing the LTN, citing that Fentiman Road had fewer cars, less noise and pollution and an improved feeling of safety at junctions, for cyclists (Lambeth Council, 2024).
