Prebend Street Bus Gate Activation

In July 2020, as part of Islington’s People-friendly streets in St. Peters, a new modal filter in the form of a bus gate was introduced on Prebend Street. This traffic calming measure was part of a wider Low Traffic Neighbourhood Plan, which we wanted to activate with bold, colourful designs - inviting local residents to walk, cycle and roll in the space.
