Pavement Widenings during Covid-19

During the Covid-19 pandemic we activated several pavement widening locations in Hackney using paint and positive messaging. We noticed that many of the TfL Streetspace extended pavements and other pavement widening initiatives were not being used. By adding colour, design and messaging we hoped to invite people into the spaces traditionally dominated by cars.
