Essex Road Parking Space Reclamation

Having learned the value of collaborating with local businesses in previous interventions, we spoke to the Manager of a Co-op in Essex Road before extending the pavement into a raised parking space using bold painted designs. The designs encouraged children to play in the space and people to safely social distance while waiting outside the Co-op. We used painted types with plants to demarcate the space between the road and the reclaimed pavement.
